What a node is
The only thing that is counted.
Docker or Podman host
1 node, local socket or remote agent
Kubernetes cluster
1 node per cluster node
Users, containers, pods
Never counted
Compare plans
Every operating feature is in every plan. Paid plans add Enterprise features and support.
Each Docker or Podman host the server manages, local or through the agent, and each node of a connected Kubernetes cluster. Users, containers and pods are not counted.
Is Community a trial?
No. It is the full product under Apache-2.0, with no node limit, no user limit and no expiry. Paid plans add Enterprise features on top; they never take Community ones away.
Can I change my node count?
Yes. Paid plans are sold in blocks of five nodes. Change the count at renewal, or ask us to add a block mid-term. Enterprise counts are agreed per contract.
What happens when a license expires?
Enterprise features keep working for 14 days, then switch off. Community features and all your data stay as they are.
Does FleetOps need to reach the internet?
No. Licenses are signed files checked offline, so air-gapped installs work on every plan.
Can I move from Community to a paid plan later?
Yes. Switch to the Enterprise image on the same data directory and install the license. Nothing is migrated or lost.
Which features are planned rather than shipped?
Audit export ships today. SSO, teams, API tokens and backup are planned; they are included in every paid plan when they ship, at no extra cost during your term.
Start free. Add a license when you need one.
The same image and data directory either way. Nothing is migrated.
